Historical Renovation of the Strand Theater and Hardware Store

Rolin Construction was chosen to renovate the historically iconic Strand Theatre, a landmark for over a century, along with its 122-year-old neighboring hardware store. The theater received a comprehensive makeover, including a new lobby, theater area, auditorium, and marquee. Meanwhile, the former Atmore Hardware building was transformed into a vibrant community space, hosting live music, events, and featuring an artist’s apartment and recording studio. Rolin Construction meticulously ensured the structural integrity and preservation of significant historical artifacts while executing extensive renovations and structural work to ensure the building’s stability and longevity.
