NAREL EPA – Analytical Radiation Environmental Lab

This project at the Environmental Protection Agency in Montgomery, Alabama, involved adding 9,000 square feet renovating 37,000 square feet of space, and merging three buildings into one. This contract was executed under a $20 million IDIQ contract over five years. Challenges included coordinating the renovation and new construction amongst ongoing sensitive operations, and the construction of several testing labs, a tornado shelter, and upgrading the existing mechanical system.
