Gulf Shores High School Gym

The Gulf Shores Athletics Center project encompassed the construction of a new 15,000 square-foot gymnasium and the complete renovation and integration of the existing 12,000 square-foot gymnasium and locker room. The auxiliary gym addition features a full regulation basketball and volleyball court, with designated areas for wrestling, telescoping bleachers, a porte-cochere a main entrance that connects both gyms. The entrance includes a lobby area, restrooms, and concessions. The facility’s construction utilized concrete, steel, and masonry, along with new plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, site work, site utilities, new fire protection and alarm systems. The finishes incorporated state-of-art athletic courts and equipment, ensuring a comprehensive sports environment. This exceptional facility exemplifies the City of Gulf Shores’ dedication to providing best-in-class amenities for their students, reinforcing their commitment to excellence in athletic infrastructure.
